Beyond single landing pages, AuthorSend hosts a full author website — a home page, a page for every book and series, an about page, a blog, and newsletter signup throughout. Your site lives under Website in the sidebar.
Build the site
- Go to Website and start a new site. Quill, the built-in assistant, walks you through it.
- Tell it about you and find your books. Search for your name and import your catalog — covers, series, and blurbs — or add books by hand.
- Pick a design. There are twelve, and each one is previewed with your own books, so you choose from what your site will actually look like.
- AuthorSend builds the home page, a page for each book and series, and a reading-order page. Change anything in the same block editor you use for emails.
- Review and publish. Before the site goes live, AuthorSend checks it and lists anything that needs fixing — leftover placeholder text, images with no description, a missing privacy policy.
Your site goes live on an AuthorSend address (yoursite.authorsend.site), secured with HTTPS automatically.
Grow your list from it
Newsletter and free-book signups are built into the site, and a signup pop-up and announcement bar are there to switch on when you want them. Everyone who joins lands in your list, ready for a welcome journey.
Your site also has a blog. A post can become an email, and an email can become a post, in one click — so you write it once.
Use your own domain
When you're ready for yourdomain.com, connect a custom domain to your site — with or without www. You register the domain with any registrar; AuthorSend provisions and renews the SSL certificate for you.
How many sites?
Every plan includes at least one website with hosting and SSL. Higher plans include more — useful if you write under more than one pen name. See Plans, limits, and your reader count.
