Domain authentication is how a mailbox provider confirms that email claiming to be from your domain really is. It's the highest-impact thing you can do for deliverability, and it's a one-time setup.
The three records
- SPF lists which servers are allowed to send for your domain.
- DKIM cryptographically signs your mail so it can't be forged or tampered with.
- DMARC tells providers what to do with mail that fails the first two — and gives you visibility into anyone spoofing you.
Set it up
- Go to Settings and add your sending domain.
- AuthorSend generates the exact DNS records to add.
- Add those records at your domain registrar or DNS host.
- Come back and verify. Once the records resolve, your domain is authenticated.
