A template is a reusable starting point for an email. AuthorSend ships with a gallery of professionally designed templates, and every design you save becomes a template you can reuse. They live under Campaigns → Email Templates — the moment you want a template is the moment you're making a campaign, so that's where they are.
Start from a template
When you create a campaign, pick a template from the gallery to start with. The gallery shows a real preview of each one. Your own saved designs appear together under My Templates so your work is never buried among the starters.
Save a design to reuse
Built an email whose layout you'll want again — a standard newsletter frame, a new-release announcement? Save it as a template. Next time you start there instead of from scratch.
Templates in journeys
Journeys send templates too, but you choose the template inside the journey's send step rather than from the templates page. When a journey is published, the email it will send is frozen in place, so later template edits can't quietly change what in-flight readers receive.
