Most email tools stop at opens and clicks. AuthorSend tells you which reader clicked through to buy and which email sent them — and, if you sell from your own store, which reader actually bought.
Book links
Give each book one short link and use it everywhere you'd link the book. Point it wherever you sell: a store page, or the universal book link you already use (Books2Read, Booklinker, Geni.us).
Because the link knows who it was sent to, its report shows:
- Named clicks — the readers who clicked, not just a total.
- The send that drove them — each click is tied back to the campaign it came from.
- Devices — whether readers click from a phone, tablet, or desktop.
A book-link click can also start a journey, so you can follow up with the readers who went to look.
Sales from your own store
Your own store does know who bought. Connect Shopify, WooCommerce, or Payhip under Settings → Integrations and each paid order comes back to AuthorSend: the buyer joins your list marked as a buyer of that book, and can be sent their download automatically.
From there you can segment on real purchases and start a journey from a sale — a thank-you, or a "read this next."
Why it matters
Once you can see who acted on each send, you stop guessing. You learn which kinds of emails — a personal note, a discount, a new-release announcement — actually send your readers to the book, and you do more of what works.
