Three steps to move your list

Export from Kit
In Kit, open Grow → Subscribers, then the "…" menu → Export subscribers → Export all. Kit emails you a CSV when it is ready.

Add it here
In AuthorSend, go to Subscribers → Import and choose Kit. Tags come across with their readers. Anyone who unsubscribed, bounced or complained at Kit arrives blocked, and readers who never confirmed are never mailed.

Check the numbers, then bring them in
You see every count before anything is imported, it runs in the background, and the whole import can be undone. Nothing is emailed until you press send.

Switching questions, answered
Yes. Exporting changes nothing at Kit. Most authors import, send themselves a test, and switch over between two newsletters.
No. Readers who were subscribed at Kit stay subscribed here. If you sent from your own domain at Kit, you can on the Growth plan and up here too, so the From line your readers know stays the same.
Sequences, forms and email designs don’t transfer between any two platforms, so they are rebuilt here. Growth includes an assisted migration, where we review your import before you switch, and Pro includes a concierge migration, where we rebuild your sequences, forms and segments for you.
New sending accounts warm up over their first several days, so a large list reaches full speed gradually. If you are moving 10,000 readers or more, email sales@authorsend.com before you switch and we will plan the import and the warm-up with you.
